Role: Paul is principally a buy to let mortgage broker, whose clients include not only part-time investors who use buy to let as an alternative pension strategy but also professional landlords with large property portfolios.

Paul enjoys the mix of finding finance solutions for landlords looking to fund standard buy to let houses and flats through to sorting out complex funding scenarios on unusual properties that don't fit with the mainstream lenders' criteria.

As well as buy to let mortgages, Paul is an expert in regulated transactions, so if you are looking to buy or remortgage your home, Paul can help with that too. Always approachable, Paul is happy to share his in-depth knowledge with clients and direct them to the most appropriate mortgage products.

Experience: Prior to working for Mortgages for Business Paul spent 15 years at Barclays in a variety of roles including local branch manager. He first joined us as a consultant mortgage broker in May 2003 and spent six years helping landlords finance their buy to let properties. Shortly after the financial crash, Paul left the company and went to work for NatWest on the residential mortgage side as an area manager with responsibility for half a dozen branches. He rejoined Mortgages for Business in September 2012 and we're delighted to have him back.

Paul is a highly qualified broker and holds the Certificate in Business Banking and Conduct (CertBB&C), Certificate of Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), a certificate in Money Laundering Prevention and a Higher National Certificate in Lending and Securities.
