Who can register with MFB for Intermediaries?

We can accept registrations from any of the following: 

DAs – FCA Directly Authorised Intermediaries
ARs – Appointed Representatives of an FCA registered Network or Club
NACFB members – Firms and Individual members of the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers
Professionals* - Other connected professionals, including accountants, solicitors and financial advisors should be registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) - https://ico.org.uk/ 

How long does it take to register?

We should be able to get you fully registered within 24 hours during the working week, often much sooner. If your case is urgent, please let us know, and we’ll do all we can to complete your registration more quickly. You don’t need to be ready to transact to register with us; it will save you time later if you register now! 

Why do I need to register?

Only once we’ve received your registration documents can we verify your details and log them onto our system. Our verification process involves checking your details with the FCA register, the NACFB members’ register and Companies House. Once this has been completed, you can transact with us. 

You will then be assigned a dedicated Consultant and Client relationship manager to work with you on all your cases. 

How will I be paid?

We won’t keep you waiting. Any fees received for introduced cases by the end of business on Tuesday each week will be paid out to introducers by the Friday of that week. 

How do our proc and deal placement fees work?

All fees are variable and are based on loan size and case complexity. Your consultant will discuss this with you at the start to ensure complete transparency.

How does the deal placement process work?

We work with you, the lender, and associated third parties throughout the deal placement process. As we are responsible for the advice given to your client, we will need to speak directly to them. However, please be assured that your client remains your client for this deal and any future transactions. 

Once you’ve contacted us with your enquiry, we review possible lenders and finance options. You then receive the indicative terms to check and send to your client. Once these are approved, we prepare a supporting proposal and submit your application.

How can I register with MFB for Intermediaries?

You can register with us in three easy steps: 

  • Download the Registration Form and Statement of Integrity forms.
  • Complete the interactive forms. Please remember to save them locally before sending them to us.
  • Return the completed forms to us by email at dealplacement@mortgagesforbusiness.co.uk or by post to: MFB for Intermediaries, 17 Kings Hill Avenue, Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent, ME19 4UA

How does our packing service work?

Our packing service is an excellent solution for brokers who have already sourced a buy to let, residential or commercial lender for their client but may not have access to the lender or the relevant permission to transact on the type of deal. Once you’ve registered with us, we will verify the proposed product's suitability and complete the DIP and full mortgage application for you! We will then keep you updated as the case progresses.

Can I track my case progress?

Once you’ve registered with MFB for Intermediaries, you will be assigned a dedicated Consultant and Client Relationship Manager, who will send you and your client regular updates on your case(s) via email and over the phone.
